thanks Ray and Kevin. I'll look into the PST and Energy Suspension kits too.

so, replacing the upper control arm pivot shaft is not necessary. but, i would like to
clean it up. the shafts and hardware looks old and has a light layer of oxidation. can
it be blasted and then painted or powder coated? or should I just hit it with a wire
wheel and put some primer on it.
