Not to offend anyone on the list but if you package it yourself you can get
it for less than KRC if you do decide to go with one. It depends on whether
you're willing to put in the legwork.

If I was going to do FI on my V6 I'd have to go with turbos though, it's all
personal preference but I can't see using something that causes a parasitic
loss to generate power. With turbos it's almost free boost. Plus, if you
take the time and research turbos you can pick something that'll spool fast
on the V6 and give you good top end.

Turbo FTW, plus the stock V6 is really weak like that. Kids on bicycles were
faster than me when mine was stock. Now that I'm modded it's about the same
actually...

For sure. You can make the V6 into a performance machine but it'll cost you
about the same as a comparable V8 swap if you do all the work yourself. You
could easily stay under $5k on a V8 swap if you shop smart and hit the local
junkyards.

I ran a 17.1 at 82mph at Byron. I've got about the same mods as you but I
have a superchips program as well. I can keep up with a stock 4x4 V8 in a
stop light race but even my friend's stock honda civic can give me a run for
my money.
