There was one up near Plattsburgh back in April of 2001 which woke me up
in Syracuse. I can only imagine what the hungover SUNY Plattsburgh
students on top of the 10-story dorms were thinking at 6:30 AM when it
happened.
I recall several other pretty strong ones centered near Blue Mountain
Lake when I was a kid.
