much easier and cheaper to replace the glass - assuming you can find
them. if you have the 6x9 mickey mouse mirrors, I believe the glass is
on a plate that pops out (don't quote me on that)...
on my 89's the glass is glued directly to the backing plate. When I had
to replace mine, I scraped the old mirror out with a screw driver or
whatever and glued the new glass in place.
