Hi,
Several weeks ago I posted a message about some post-Daktoberfest carnage.
I've finally figured out what it was. I seem to have blown all 4 shocks
(Edelbrock IAS). The rears were the first to go, then this week the fronts.
It started as a slight clang, but progressively worked it's way up to where
every single seam on the road I it, sounded like severe metal against metal
was hiting. I removed the rear shocks from the lower mounts and VIOLA! no
more sound!
The Edelbrocks have a limited lifetime warranty that I should be able to
claim them under (Jon's was mudding, not off roading).
Time to get rid of them and go back to the Rancho RSX!
YAY!!!
