I don't have much experience with sound deadening, but I think you want
something along the lines of dynafoam. Dynamat is for antivibration.
Dynafoam is a foam mat that is for sound deadening. ?I know you need mass
to deaden sound. Stopping low frequency is much difficult that stopping
high frequency. I looked into getting it about 10 years ago for my car.
Never did though.
