If the truck has less than 8 years or 80,000 miles on it, a
catalytic converter or computer (and possibly other parts) may be able
to be replaced at no cost under the federally mandated emissions
warranty.
That doesn't apply in this particular case since the Dak in
question is a '96 and thus older than 8 years, but I thought I would
mention that just as a general FYI.
