HVAC Controls

The HVAC controls are not functioning in my '93 Dakota, it's stuck on
floor/defrost. If I remember correctly, there's vacuum connections on the
back of the HVAC controls correct? If that's not the problem, where else
should I check? Could the blend door be broken?
