I think they underrate every vehicle out there, either as part of a
serious CYA effort, or to convince you to rent a truck from them to to
with. Or maybe both.

I remember when I moved into my first apartment they had to make *real*
sure that my father's Durango (which, at the time, was hauling a 27'
travel trailer regularly) was capable of towing their largest (8x12 I
think) box trailer.

They also forced us to buy the adapter to plug his standard wiring
harness into their non-standard trailer wiring.

I hate UHaul. </soapbox>
