Adam,
Fergedaboudit...just glad you are okay and best wishes on your wedding. As
the DML went on, we could see that you were okay and frankly I was glad to
see that.

Subject: DML: No need to say a prayer for me. :)

Well, i guess i need to apologize for giving everyone a little scare there
last week.

I was attempting to be funny and trying to equate a terminal illness with
getting married.
I suppose the late time of night when i wrote that coupled with the bit of
stress i was going through leading up to the wedding left me at a bit of a
cognitive loss and i'm sure i didn't make the joke quite clear enough. That

will teach me!!!
I do appreciate all the well-wishes though, that was nice albeit
unnecessary. :)

As for the wedding, it went off splendidly.
We had zero problems, lots of fun, drinks and great food. Pretty much the 3

ingredients Jackie and I were hoping for during our big day. And the
speeches were actually pretty good. My best man did an awesome job of
walking the tight-rope of making a lot of jokes at my expense, yet not
embarrassing me too much. lol

As Jackie is a teacher, we're going to wait until her summer break (mid-July

to mid-August) before we take our honeymoon.
We threw a lot of ideas around before finally settling on New Zealand.
We'll be going for about 4 weeks, and i'll actually have a job waiting for
me when i come back! Here in Alberta's booming economy, when a company has
a good worker (I know, i'm surprised to be considered a good worker too...

lol) they do a lot to keep that worker happy.
So i won't be getting paid vacation time to go on the trip, i'll retain my
position when i return. And i won't even have been there a full year at
that point.

Having said all of that, it's unfortunate, but i won't be able to make it to

this year's BBQ in NY.
But, there's still '08 and i'm hoping to get out for that one, maybe the DML

crew will have another "traveling BBQ" and brin the party a bit closer to
me? :D :D :D

The Adam Blaster
Two words, figure it out.....
