The blower motor bypasses the resistor elements on high... however the
power still flows through that resistor harness. If you look at the
back of it - you'll see the coiled wire of the resistor elements - and
one straight wire. That straight through non coiled wire is the "high"
circuit.

Take the resistor off the firewall - easier to clean it up if ya do.
Best bet is to take a stiff wire brush to the electrical connector
contacts and brush em up. Slather some dielectric grease on them and
slap the connector back on - should fix it right up.
