This is the only one I found that has an integrated tuner (HD too),
integrated wireless N, Core Duo, a decent graphics card (Radeon HD2600 256
MB) for the occasional gamming, integrated web cam, Bluetooth (I like a
wireless mouse without having a receiver sticking out), lots of different
ports, etc. I've looked and can't seem to find those feature in a $1500
laptop. A lot come close but and have some of these features but not all.
Right now my Dell 8200 has an external webcam, external N card, external USB
2.0 card, external wireless mouse receiver, external speakers (the HP HDX
has integrated Altec speakers w/ subwoofer, not as good as external speakers
but must be much better then the standard laptop speakers), and external
tuner. One criteria for my new laptop was to have all these integrated
(except the speakers, that's a plus).
I really don't want to tote around a projector for the occasional trip.
Even though it sounds as though I've made up my mind, I haven't. I
appreciate your reply and considering all possibilities.

Even if your goal is basically a portable desktop that computer would be a
waste of money in my book. Get a smaller, cheaper laptop, something more in
the 15.4" screen and $1500 range and if you want a big screen for your
extended trips then get a small portable projector. In the end it would
probably be cheaper and provide more options and portability. However,
ultimately figure out what your needs and budget are and explore as many
options as you can for that.
As for a more direct answer for the two HD question, consider the option of
using an external HD for your second disk.
