here is where I bought mine. Terrific printers. The cartridges for these
are not only a lot bigger, but they are cheaper, and last longer. I buy
replacements at supermediastore.com or the CIS, (continuous ink systems),
off eBay for around $65 and it will print thousands of pages. On draft
mode, its faster than a laser. I like lasers too. I have five HP 5
printers networked at home, even one in the garage. Two of those have
duplexers. All my inkjets have networking, extra paper trays, and duplexers
as well, (hence the designation "dtn", "dtwn" is wireless).

Interesting. I've never taken a close look at any of their "pro" series.

The specs look really nice. As in, better than a laser printer nice, and
this
is coming from someone who used to think laser printers were the ultimate.

Definitely something to keep in mind when I decide to get a printer again.
For now, I'm either just going to live with the inkjet, or figure out how to
fix this laser. I just have to decide whether I want to run the risk of
throwing even more money at it without any guarantee that it's ever going to
work right.
