I don't think the NV3500 has a neutral switch. The 2 pin
connector on the left of the transmission is the backup lamp switch.
The vehicle speed sensor connection is unfortunately not illustrated in
my FSM, but the location given is at the rear of the engine. It is a
3 pin connector; I'd do a search in the bellhousing area of the
transmission, check between the engine and firewall, up on top of the
trans, etc.

I'm not sure, but as infrequently as you need to change the fluid
in a manual transmission, I'd probably just stick with the recommended
stuff unless there is a good reason to do otherwise.
FYI: The recommended fluid is Mopar Manual Transmission Lubricant, part
number 4761526 (as of 1996, anyway). The FSM states that no other
lubricant is acceptable or recommended. Capacity is 4.2 pints.
