Tom, put the cup down and carefully step away from the haterade...just
because *your* bike has a hard time going 40 mph... Remember, you have
  friends that like to ride fast.

Second... A 150 mph deerstrike with nothing more than a bit of plastic
broken? I realize that riding a motorbike increases percieved speed by
a factor of 2 or 3, but damn, that stretches credibility. I have seen
several deerstrikes on bikes, and helped clean a few up myself, and
almost without exception, anything above 70 or so on a bike into
anything bigger than a dog, resulted in an unrideable bike and a trip to
the ER - and that was with full leathers on.
