I agree there - I would also lean to believe that the speeds were
exaggerated.

Same here - I don't know him.

Dude thats a pretty narrow minded comment all of its own :) You have
your work cut out for you, if you are going to try and convice me that
its a good idea - or that its acceptable, to do that kind of speed on
public roads.

And I would agree with that too - I think the majority of speed limits
are for a law enforcement agency to issue fines. However 25 MPH speed
limits make sense on residental side streets and neighborhoods right?
SOmetimes a law makes sense. (yeah I know were not talking about that
kind of speed law)

I am by no means a 100% traffic law abiding citizen heh - I routinly fly
to work (late) doing 85-90 in the three mile stretch between my house
and the exit I take to work. I'm sure its a matter of time before my
ass gets stopped doing 90 in a 65. Do I think 90 is "reckless and
immature"? Mmm I would have to say yes, and you can judge me any way
you want for that. I'm not saying that I'm in the right when I do that.
But just try and tell me that 140 is acceptable where somsone else may
be harmed by that kind of speed?

At that kind of speed, you require longer distances to come to a stop.
Your reaction times are much shorter. Ask yourself if you would be able
to avert disaster if you had a car or a truck or an animal get in your
way at 140+ MPH?

Would you have better odds at 65-75? I know - it all depends on the
circumstances.

I'm just saying that people who think its safe, smart, or a good idea to
do speeds of 140 on public roads... are not going to convice me they are
in the right.
