Yup...the newer (ceramic) ones don't burn up like the older resistor boards.

Good info. My wiring harness had burn up before and I have spade terminals
on my wires plugging into the resistor bank. I can get some use from this.

The black one on the left is the original I pulled out. I had only high
speed working, so there was at least some of the resistor wire intact, but
the other taps were beyond the open.

The green one on the left is the replacement.

The left two terminals are common. The three on the right have different
resistance readings with a meter, leading to four total fan speeds.
