The most difficult part of the job from my perspective and the part that
I needed a hand with was getting the box that contains both the heater
core and evaporator back into position. There are two lines coming from
both the evaporator and heater core plus 4 or 5 studs that pass through
the firewall that need to line up before it all goes back in place.

I'm sure there is a trick to it but it frustrated the heck out of me
until I got a second set of hands on it.

Well I got an estimate today. $900.00 for the heater core and they also
recommended doing the evaporator for another $300.00. This is making it
very
tempting to try the radiator sealer. I think for now I may just bypass
the
heater core until I do a little more research. What's the most difficult

part in replacing it? I'd probably have to do the entire job on my own
so
if another hand is required that may be a problem.
