Not quite Dakota related...but interesting enough. :)

2008/2009 Dodge Challenger Updates:

(1) 2008 - SRT8 Only (425HP/420TQ)
(2) 2009 - SE (3.5L V6 - 250HP/250TQ) and R/T (5.7L VVT/MDS 390HP/398TQ)
(3) 42RLE and NAG are standard with TR6060 6-Speed Optional (Tremec)
(4) ATF+4 is the standard fluid in all transmissions - 6spd uses Dual-Disc
Clutch System
(5) 1-4 Skip Shift solenoid is standard on TR6060 Transmission
(6) 3.06 LSD Differential is optional
(7) Vehicle is 4" shorter than 300/Charger (But built on LX Platform)
(8) Cross-Beam support bar under rear seat for cabin rigidity
(9) Keyless Pushbutton Start - put FOB in passenger seat, press brake (or
clutch) and press button twice to start vehicle (Can be bypassed to used
standard keyfob)

The SE and R/T models are due in the 3rd quarter of 2008. We have 5 of the
SRT8 Challengers in route to the dealership and already have a 2008 Viper
(NICE!!). Yes, the new Hemi's are VVT engines now with the MDS system.
