The N/A PT's you have to do that...not on the Turbo models.

I don't know if they changed the engine at all from 01 to 07, but on my
wife's 01 PT, I just unbolted the upper intake and lifted it up a bit to
get at all the plugs. There are re-useable seals between the upper and
lower intake.
