Nope...no need to remove the intake. Just a standard (short) 5/8" plug
socket and a long extension. Also, gap the plugs at .045", not the .050".
At 14K miles though, it's really not necessary to change the plugs/wires.
The plugs are good for 30-35K miles and the wires are good for 50-60K miles.
If you do decide though, NGK V-Powers are the way to go on the PT Turbo's
and the "Hot Wires" (8mm) work really well too.

Clean out the "make up" filter in the air box with some mild solvent and let
it dry.

We have an '07 Turbo PT and it's been getting only 17 MPG highway so I'll be

doing plugs, wires, air filter. Looks like the 2 center plugs may be
blocked by the intake but should be able to work around it with the proper
extension and swivel, correct? Anything else replaceable on these cars that

mileage? Only has 14,000 miles.
