For sure... that would be a real good way to take driveline strain off
your powertrain - if I recall you've been plagued with various mounts
going to hell... would help breakover angle as well... (drive shaft
angle change)

That I can't confirm or deny, however I would be quite suprised if the
two were different.

I need to exchange info with you some time on drivelines and
suspensions... I've got some new long term goals and I'm going to see
them through even if it kills and bankrupts me.
