heh - wiper blades... simple thing right? Bullshit. GM has come up with a new attachment
deal for their current production pickups and others are starting to use it now too. I think
my Civic has it. The evolution of the wiper blade attachment points should have stopped at the
"Shepherds hook" style. Dependable, easy, reliable. So when joe schmoe comes in and freaks
out when the cost of his wipers is almost half a C-note and bitches that the wipers for his old
truck were 10 bucks... I get to say "I dunno why they changed it!"
Add to that - many new SUVs are using rear wipers that are totally different and none of the
old designs fit. The aftermarket is just now starting to pick up on them.
"What do you mean I have to go to the dealer?! Its a wiper blade!"
"I bet they redesigned the whole sickbay too! I know engineers, they love to change things!"
