2002 quad cab fuel pump

I am getting the slow start from the bad fuel pump check valve. I
just posted a P0302 misfire which I am hoping is just due to the rough
start up as the pressure builds. How hard is the fuel pump to get to
on this truck. Do I have to drop the fuel tank?
