Hi David! Technically anything from a 1987 to a 1996 should work. Ideally the newer the
better. 92+ models used bigger engine mount brackets on the frame which is more desireable.
87-97 regular cab, 8 foot bed (long box) 4x4 chassis. Engine and transmission don't really matter.
