on the '02 Pop your air hat and look for oil in the intake.....could be the
infamous blown belly gasket.
look under your dash in the 97 see if the fan looks like it can drop out of
the dash......lots of vehicles with fans in the cab you pop 3 bolts and the
wires and it's in your hand........
