One more CV question.
The only source I can find for the components (i.e. balls, bearings,
cage, etc) is chrysler, and it costs $500 for one outer cv joint just
to give you an example.
IS there any way to cross reference this to the actual supplier (i.e.
federal mogul, etc) and maybe get an affordable source, if I were
going to go the route of rebuilding? I've heard that it's mostly
outer joints that wear out, not inners.
