Re: Another one of my stupid ideas

Sometimes I forget all people don't buy 4x4 trucks, but that's mostly because
in my climate most people regard a 2wd truck to be a liability. This time of
year is always interesting because a $500 beater 4x4 truck in August turns into
a $1500 beater truck in December, it's almost magical. ;)

I pulled this from the FSM:

Looks like there's a locknut under the shifter I'd have to unscrew then the
knob comes right off. I wonder if the thread size is the same 14mm-2
size/thread pitch? Mcmaster-Carr has them online in Metric but I don't know
what a 14mm-2 would be according to their available sizes:

Would 14mm-2 mean M14 with a 2mm thread pitch? If so of course they have
everything but the M14 available for the couplings!
