To add to what Ray said, a day at the drag strip is only about $20-30 which
can tell you a lot about your truck. If there's a Dyno in your area, you can
probably get a few pulls in for $50-60. Now you know what your HP output is
at the wheels and how quick your truck is and you spent less than the cost
of a GTech, which isn't known to be all that accurate for horsepower
estimates. They are fun to mess around with, but not worth the cost IMHO.
Warning: passes at the drag strip can be highly addicting and may lead to
further modification. Miggity, your truck, and the DML are not responsible
for the money you may spend to sqeeze out that extra tenth. =)
