They are riveted in to the lower control arm. An air chisel is the easiest
way remove the rivets. You'll also need something to hammer the rivets out
of the control arm after you've chiseled the heads off of them. There are 6
rivets total (3 on each side). Get the bolt-in ball joints, the bolts will
thread right through the holes left behind by the rivets. Once you get the
new ones bolted in and everything buttoned back up, it'll need an
alignment... I would recommend a different shop than the NTB though. =)
