Stumble when cold

Truck: 1995 Dakota 4x4 318, ATX

I usually remote start my truck to give it a minute to get the oil
pumping while I lock up the house, etc. Today I didn't do so. I got
down the block and went to make a right turn and the engine stumbled.
It sputtered a bit and lost power like it went really rich for a moment,
then ran fine for the rest of the commute.

It has a quarter tank of gas, and it's got 93 octane in it currently
with the MP ECU.

It's always had a "chuggy" and rich idle when cold, and sometimes it
takes a moment for the revs to come up after starting like it's too rich
or the idle control valve is slow to respond... I'm wondering if I have
a leaky injector or maybe the dreaded bad intake pan gasket, ugh.

Any other ideas, hopefully simple ones? I guess the truck is trying to
get me to fix the Mazda so I don't have to drive the truck to commute
this summer....

Thanks,

M.B.
