defeating speed limiters

We had a discussion last month about speed governers on Dodge trucks.
I found the following posted on rec.autos.tech and asked if it would
work on Dodges, and got the following response.

I'm not willing to pay for this device-since I have no need to go
115 and I can't do it anywhere around here safely, but it sounded like
a couple of you folks might be interested. No price was given.

Thank you for waiting this long,

The anwer is a qualified yes.

The engineers for the company that I deal with had to do some research
before they though it would work on your vehicle.

I can send you one for evaluation and if it works properly then you can pay
for it. Perhaps you could give me a credit card number for security? Or
arrange some other type of security?

It will require some research on your part, i.e. which wire to intercept
going to the computer. This will involve looking at a wiring diagram.

Then the actual installation will involve intercepting the signal from the
Vehicle Speed Sensor (+ side) to the vehicle's computer. And then supplying
power to the unit from the same sorce that the computer recieves power, i.e.
when the computer is on with power the device needs power.

So let me know.

Email me or give me a call.

Matt
