RE: Looking at new trucks (fwd)

I have owned products from the "big three" and some imports, but consider
myself a Mopar kind of guy. Good luck with Fords ('78 Bronco, '91
Aerostar AWD), bad with GM (Corvairs, Corvettes, Caprice), great luck with
Mopar (over 30).

Latest Mopar was a '95 full sized Club Cab SWB 1500 that I bought to tow
race cars, but have ended up bracket racing fairly successfully. Check
my web page for details if you'r interested.

This vehicle is also my daily driver and will be a year old in five
days. In that year, I have made over 200 smokey, full throttle burnouts
on the stock tires and they don't need replacing yet. I don't use a line
lock and the brake linings on the rear are still OK and the only thing
that broke was the passenger seat adjuster cable that I snagged with a
tool tray but my dealer replaced under warranty. Before the month is
out, I will have racked up over 24,000 miles and my truck was faster
stock than the new engined Fords or GM trucks.
