It is unlikely this type of liner will ever be made as a factory or dealer
option. The special handling and equipment to apply the liner and repair
it is far too costly for your average body shop to justify. One drum of
the material is $1000, must be kept at exactly 80 F, and only lasts a few
months in storage. This is enough material to do about 14 complete beds,
but since repairs take so little material, it would last a while.

Add to this cost a special spray booth designed to scrub the cyinide based
by products and the Class A fresh air supply system and you see why there
are so few dealers as it is. In order for this type of setup to pay for
itself, you'd need steady new customers every day.

The really large dealers might be able to justify this, but once you move
to the midsize and smaller shops, its too much. Can't offer a product that
the dealer can't warrenty.
