That's funny mine is real tight and takes quite a tug to open. I suggest that
maybe if you make a couple of bugger marks along the slidding surfaces that
might create enough resistance to keep it from sliding open on it's own.

Subject: Drink Trays
-- [ From: Mark E. Demski * EMC.Ver #2.3 ] --
First off, I've driven Dakota's since their debut in 1987. I started out with
a Brown and Tan long bed V6 Manual Transmission. Drove it back and forth
between Michigan and Arizona countless times. I've since graduated to a '93
Magnum V8 sport (with Light Bar).
There's a problem that I've seen with a couple of the dakotas and I haven't
found a fix (that I can do myself).
Does anybody know how to keep the drink tray from popping out on bumpy
roads/turns? It's gotten to the point that going down a paved road it pops out.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mark Demski
