My door locks froze (seems to be a CC trait, both of my Daytonas had the same
problem) on the Dakota a couple of weeks ago and it took me about 5 seconds to
pop the lock with a coat hanger. I suggest if you have not done it replace the
door lock plungers with ones that do not have a knob on top.

ps: Mine's an 89 and has door lock plungers near the back of the door on the
window line. I do not know if the design has changed on the newer trucks.
