I have cheap Western Auto all-terrain 30X9.5 on stock aluminum rims on
my 2WD club cab. Aggressive tread, 40K wearout warranty, less than $80
each.
They can rub the frame on back side of the tires when turned all the
way, only happens when I back out of the driveway. Probably wouldn't
happen on a 4X4 (I think the axles make the front track slightly wider).
It's not a problem for me though, and causes no damage to the tires.
