Well, I finally got that noise in my transfer case
cured for good (I hope!!)

I took it to the dealer I bought the truck from
and they basically replaced anything replace-able in the
transfer case and overdrive unit.....

As of right now,the noises are gone!! Isaw the bill
to Chrysler (it was under the 7/70 wearranty...The total
was $1,200.00!!

Also, my fuel gauge sending unit went bad and it was not
covered under any warranty, so I shelled out the $85.00
for that.

BTW---I think we had a thread going a while back about whether
it was ok to run clearcoated aftermarket wheels in the winter...

Well, After one winter, my AR wheels on my Dakota started
peeling BAD.....American Racing replaced them because they were still
under the 1 year warranty....However, except for this
most recent bit of snowy weather here in Pittsburgh,
I believe that I will probably swap wheels during the snowy months,.
