Has anyone else had problems with failure of Monroe front shocks. I`ve been
through 4 pairs, all replaced under warrenty(my labour). Since I`m getting
tired of this,I`ll tell you about the problem. It`s an 88 4X4 and in the winter
when we can`t go off road in Northern Michigan the shocks don`t get full
stroked, nothing to bounce off of. The top 1/2-1 inch of the rod rusts and the
rust tears out the seals. You would think Monroe would look at them and
make corrections to there process. Conclusion, don`t buy Monroe front shocks!
