Because of the shape of the front end you will need to do some work to make it fit and will need to install electric fans for the radiator similiar to the Shelby Dakotas.

Does anyone know the practicality of replaceing the 3.9 engine in my 88 4X4,
with an 92 or later magnium V6 or V8. I would get the wireing harness & computer
from the wrecked truck also. I have found a V6, does anyone know where there
is a V8?
