Actually, at least the performance-oriented dealers around here WILL give you
$100 credit on the MP computer purchase with trade-in. Also, Turbo City in
Orange, CA will take your factory SBEC, rip it apart and solder in a slot for
a chip (!) that is custom programmed to your specs. It is thus removable for
reprogramming. They supposedly employ an ex-ChryCo programmer who really
knows his stuff. He told me he can whup the MP chip, and even allow you to
use less than 92 octane (hmmm..) They also have a under 24 hour turnaround
time on getting your SBEC back to you, overnight delivery. All this for a
mere $450 (!!!) I'm still thinking about it...

What a crock is right!! My dealer will warranty all MP parts, even if you
get all the parts and the VORTECH BLOWER that this service dept. will install
! (I swear, I am not making this up!) Methinks you need to find a dealer
with some gearheads on the payroll! These guys even warranty my lowered 95
(except for the aftermarket parts and anything that gets "scraped")
