I have a '95 Ram Wagon SLT w/ the Infinity package. However,
only the front (door) speakers have the Infinity label. The rear
speakers have no label. Am I to assume the rear speakers are
not Infinity, and therefore do not have an on-board amp?
I have an Alphasonic 100W X 2 amp and a Deltasonic 9 band
passive EQ that I would like to put on the van for the rear
speakers but I'm not sure how it would attach to the factory radio.
When a stereo store attempted to connect an aftermarket amp to
my '92 Dakota premium radio, they caused it to blow and ended
up paying for it. I really don't want to toss the Infinity speakers
either.

Do you have the Infinity sound system? If I remember correctly,
the
Infinity speakers do have an amplifier built into them. It was for
that
reason that I didn't get the Infinity system when I bought my truck,
since
I was planning to upgrade the sound in the future.
I don't know this for sure, but I've been told that if you want to
upgrade the Infinity system, you're looking at an upgrade of the
entire
system, since each component is kind of dependent on the rest of
the
system being Infinity as well...
