I've got a 96 club cab with the bucket seats and I wonder if the following is
by design or is a defect...
Both seatbacks can be flopped or leaned forward simply by pushing them over.
There is no catch that holds them back until its released. Is this by design?
I have a couple of concerns. I wonder if this is more or less safe than seats
with the release. It's also annoying when I back up. My habit has been to put
my right hand on the back of the passenger seat and use this for leverage to
twist myself around and look through the rear window. With these seats, the
seatback just flops forward and I have no purchase.
