   Yes the lower parts of the interior door trim should just pop off. It
is being held on by metal clips that slide into holes and expand after
they come through the holes. The top part of the trim is tucked behind
sheet metal, so after the lower part is freed from it's fasteners, you
will need to lift the panel up, to completely remove it.
   
   At least that's how I took the one off of my 96.
