Hello to all

My name is Jim Hahn
I have been researching/admiring/looking for Dodge Dakotas for about a
year now and am now ready to buy one. I have been looking for one in the
St. Louis area for quite a while now and have had little success. Here
is what I am looking for:

92-93 Dakota V8 Super LE Club Cab 4x2 or 94-95 Club Sport or Reg Sport
limited slip differential 3.55's or 3.90's
tilt and cruise (part of 92-93 LE package if I'm not mistaken)
sliding rear glass (ditto)
A/C (ditto)
22 gallon gas tank (once again ditto)

Nice to have but not required
2000 pound payload package
heavy duty electrical
bucket seats
94-95 5spd manual

Okay I know this sounds pretty picky but money don't grow on trees in my
neighborhood and if I am gonna spend the money I am not willing to settle
for less than what I want. The big problem is finding a truck that comes
anywhere close. I have considered many Dakotas outside of these
parameters but they always have something wrong with them (obvious
damage, way way too many miles, obvious abuse ((looked at a 95 reg cab
with 32,000 on the clock and cords showin on the rear tires)), etc..
Does anyone have something close that they might be wanting to sell or
know someone who does. I am more than willing to go out of my way for
the right truck, just can't seem to find it. Enough on that.

I have been following the mailing list for about a month now and am
suprised that I have not heard mention of what I believe is the greatest
source of aftermarket parts for Magnum Engines (V6 & V8,even a little for
the V10), Dakotas, Rams, Jeeps etc.

Sorry about the shameless plug but these guys have lots of stuff
specifically for Dodge Trucks such as cylinder heads, intakes, cams, etc..
And it is all there in one place. They even have a "recipe" for getting
your V8 Dakota into the 11's (1/4 mile). If you are interested in any
specifics from the catalog e-mail me and I'll send you some specifics on
the parts your interested in. Please excuse me if I don't answer right
away but I don't find time to check mail every day.

Speakin' of time, gotta go.
Nice talkin' at ya
