Hi everybody! I just joined the list today. I own a '94 4x4 V8 and its
about time to replace the tires, that damn V8 :-). What's on the truck now
are the stock 235-75R-15's on the stock 15 x 6 rims. I would like to put
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A 30x9.5's on the stock rims. Has anybody on the
list tried these larger tires on the stock rims. If so, have you had any
problems with rubbing, excessive tire roll in cornering, etc? Any info
would be greatly appreciated.

Also, under hard acceleration, I'm starting to get a knocking sound under
hood. It sounds like it could possibly be carbon buildup on the tops of
the pistons. Has anyone else experienced this. Is there a fix for it?

Thanks again for any help that you can give!
