Correcto. I went with 205-75/15 Firestone Town and Country's. I
recommend the size, not the tire. I wanted to go 195-80, but couldn't
find any. The 205-75's are actually just about the same height as the
215-75's because in a given tire size, snows are somewhat narrower and
somewhat taller than the all-seasons. I've heard many great things
about Bridgestone Blizzaks which are now available in 205-75 and will go
with them next time, but bear in mind that once they are down to about
half their tread depth, the special hydrophilic rubber compound is gone
and you're really just riding on all-seasons for the remainder of their
life. They are said to be an exceptional ice tire and a very good snow
tire. Studding is not available (nor, apparently, necessary). They are
said to be a bit noisy, even compared to other snow tires.

I got 225-70/15 BFGoodrich Comp T/A HR4's. I'm delighted with 'em. I
wanted to go 235-65, but again, couldn't find any. You'll find them to
be VERY reasonably priced, great-handling and long-lived, especially
compared to the stock Goodyear's or to BFG Radial T/A's. I didn't
notice any increase in noise or degradation of ride quality. Speed is
no problem with the H rating. The only downside is that once they are
almost worn out, these wider tires can be somewhat prone to
hydro-planing. I will keep buying these unless I find something
reputable in a 235-65.

Ditto here. BTW, since this is snow tire season, I suppose it's time to
offer up my two extra Predator rims for sale to the mailing list.
They're take-offs (practically new, but have wheel weight marks on 'em).
I paid $116 for the pair, and I'll let 'em go for that plus shipping
cost.
Just my $0.02...
