Why didn't you pin them down on an exact delivery date when you purchased it??
I did and was promised Aug 17/95. When the afternoon of the 17th arrived
and no truck - they told me two more days. I replied to this, "Well, I
guess if you're going to have it for 2 extra days and postpone my New Truck
Experience you'll be repaying me with a FREE TRUCK BED LINER!! For each
extra day that you rob me of, you'll just have to give me something else to
make it worth my while."
Needless to say the truck was ready Aug. 18, liner and mud flaps with DAKOTA
embossed in gold. You have to stand your ground to get what you want. OK
OK - they labelled me a "BITCH" for a while, but everything's cool there
now. I learnt my lesson the hard way with the '93 when the sales guy tried
to tell me that "They don't come with rear bumpers, that's an option", etc.
etc. etc. Talk about cheesy car salesmen!!
