<< Wow! $225. Both Dodge Dealers in Austin and the one in San Marcos all
want $435 for theirs. I checked with Mopar Performance out of Houston

the deal here? Also, how do you like the 3.55 gears? Mine has a 3.21
and I have a real hard time getting traction in 1st and 2nd gear. I am
hoping the limited slip makes a big difference. >>
Give the guys at "Dakota Country" a call. They are part of Barrington Dodge
in Barrington Illinois. Area code is 847 or 630; call directory assistance
'cuz I don't have the number handy. They're actually pretty helpful, and are
more than happy to answer your tech questions about the Dakota. Now
remember, I only bought the SG carrier, not the entire diff. Perhaps that's
your price difference. 3.55 gears seem good enough. I get an average of
about 17-18 mpg highway/city, but I'm a real leadfoot. The 3.55 is good
enough to bury the speedo fairly easily, and still quick enough to spank
unsuspecting Mustangs.....
