Back in August (1996), when I was considering purchasing a new truck, I
phoned Chysler Canada's toll free number. They assured me that I would be
one of the first to receive the Dakota brochure.
Well, it arrived today!!! It's a good thing they're not so slow building
the trucks or they'd be delivering the '97 models in 1999.

Does anyone know what's going on with the automatic transmissions on the
mini-vans? A friends '95 Grand Voyager 'exploded' while being driven by
the service manager at Ensign Chrysler, (poetic justice!), just after they
told her there was nothing wrong with it. It had to be towed in.
Under warranty, they offered her a Chrysler transmission and for $100
more, an 'after-market' transmission.
